Announcing a new team member at Healing Roots Counseling! I am pleased to welcome Natalie Mehrens, Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor to Healing Roots Counseling in Downtown Sisters. Natalie is a long time Central Oregon community member and therapist making the transition from a clinical director with a larger organization to clinical supervisor and clinician with Healing Roots. She is currently accepting referrals for adolescents and young adults ages 14-25, families, parents and couples. Natalie also works with individual adults seeking EMDR counseling for trauma healing and treatment of PTSD, individuals struggling with attachment and relationship issues and those experiencing difficulties associated with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. Natalie is an EMDR Certified Therapist and utilizes EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, ACT, Attachment-Based Family Therapy treatment modalities in her therapy practice. She also incorporates Gottman Couples Therapy and Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) in her work with partners and couples. Natalie is currently in the credentialing process with PacificSource Commercial and medicaid plan, Oregon Health Authority Medicaid, MODA and Providence, accepts private pay and is able to bill insurance out-of-network.
