Announcing a new team member at Healing Roots Counseling! I am pleased to welcome Natalie Mehrens, Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor to Healing Roots Counseling in Downtown Sisters. Natalie is a long time Central Oregon community member and therapist making the transition from a clinical director with a larger organization to clinical supervisor and clinician with Healing Roots. She is currently accepting referrals for adolescents and young adults ages 14-25, families, parents and couples. Natalie also works with individual adults seeking EMDR counseling for trauma healing and treatment of PTSD, individuals struggling with attachment and relationship issues and those experiencing difficulties associated with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. Natalie is an EMDR Certified Therapist and utilizes EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, ACT, Attachment-Based Family Therapy treatment modalities in her therapy practice. I've retired. This prior client, a family man in his 50's, reached out asking for a new referral. The counselor he worked with after my retirement has now retired. I enjoyed my work with him very much. I hope I can give him some names of experienced therapists who can begin to work with him soon and who take MODA. Thanks in advance.
